Sgt. Brian Lauzon Named
December Employee of the Month

On September 7, 2007, with great anticipation, the Natick Collection had its grand opening. The opening went particularly well, in large part due to the leadership of Sergeant Paul Thompson, in his capacity as Area Commander and Sergeant Brian Lauzon, in his capacity as the Traffic Safety Officer. While the successful opening was no small accomplishment, the period from its opening and the end of the 2007 holiday shopping season tested the resources of the police department, to say the least.

Throughout this extraordinarily busy holiday season, Sergeant Lauzon met weekly with the Collection’s operations officer and the director of security, identifying and often resolving difficult issues before they became real problems. Sergeant Lauzon very often personally supervised the traffic plan and details he collaborated with others to develop. His efforts were recognized by the Natick Collection parent company’s (General Growth) Director of Corporate Security, Mr. Steven Crumrine. In a letter to me, Director Crumrine expressed his appreciation for the extraordinary effort and professionalism displayed by Sergeant Lauzon throughout the year as Sergeant Lauzon maintained a constant liaison with the developers, the construction managers, and the operations and security directors of the facility.

Sergeant Lauzon’s “can do” spirit epitomizes the type of attitude that makes this department stand out among others as the professional organization that it is.

For his continued positive energy and “we’ll get it done” spirit, Sgt. Lauzon is hereby recognized, commended, and named the Natick Police Department Employee of the Month for December,  2007.
