Officer Brian
Bosselman Named In the early morning hours of June 17, 2003, Patrol Officer Bosselman was conducting security checks of the business establishments along Route 9 as part of his regular duties. While checking the rear of Bernardi Honda he interrupted three subjects in the act of stealing tires and wheels from automobiles parked in the lot. Officer Bosselman gave chase to the group who quickly split up as he called for additional officers and broadcast a description of the suspects. Through the coordinated efforts of Sgt. Brian Lauzon and Officer Bosselman a vehicle was stopped attempting to leave the area. An auto jack, cinder blocks and tires were found at the scene and connected to the car that was stopped. Probable cause was developed and the subject was placed under arrest for several counts of Larceny over $250. Several hours’ later information was received from Stop & Shop that two individuals matching the descriptions of the other two suspects were at the store. These businesses had been notified by Natick patrol officers after the first arrest was made to be on the look out for subjects matching the description originally reported by Officer Bosselman. Officers Forde and Morrill along with Officer Bosselman responded to the store and questioned the pair. They developed sufficient information to allow them both to be charged with Larceny over $250 also. As a result of Officer Bosselman’s efforts three felons have been identified and charged and no property was lost from Bernardi Honda. For his diligence and attention to duty, Officer Brian Bosselman is hereby commended and named Employee of the Month for July 2003 Dennis
